I love this stylish NYC bedroom!
As always, the delight is found in the details. The chic bedhead and neutral linen is a stark contrast to the dramatic painting overhead and the black lacquered and paneled door
with gold coloured handles offsets the vivid white paint beautifully.
The caramel couch and honey coloured boards give the bedroom a lovely sense of warmth, and the polished brass standard lamps and golden occasional table are perfect for bouncing the light that streams through the colonial windows.
The stone lamp, bronze shade and sculpture above are a wonderful contrast against the polished walnut deco style bedside table and the silver and chocolate Louis 16th gives the
room a sense of opulence while simultaneously tying the floor rug and grey bed throw into the colour scheme.
Wheat coloured blinds are also a great choice, giving the room another layer of colour, texture and privacy and not closing the room in as curtains would.
Speaking of wonderful choices, the Apparatus light fixture is a wonderful finishing touch, making the most of the recessed ceiling above the bed, finely wrought so it doesn’t demand all
the attention but expansive enough that it fills the space perfectly.
The bedroom is a stunning blend of styles and textures, skillfully curated to create an intimate and beautiful place.
