Inspired by Jean Paul Deniot

I love luxurious rooms, my energy soars the moment I look at them and this formal sitting room by Jean Paul Deniot is no exception!
I marvel at the way he brings so many opulent furnishings and clever combinations of both traditional and contemporary elements together to create such elegant and inviting spaces.
As always, there is an inherent sophistication in his choice of fabrics, furniture, lighting and wall coverings whilst simultaneously imbuing the room with a sense of fun and lightness.
The semi circle sofas create a sense of intimacy within the space and the fabric is so richly textured yet understated enough that the sofas don’t dominate the room.
Our eyes are gently drawn to the venetian mirror by the sculptural book cases that flank the marble mantle and the side lamps bring the room alive with their light hearted geometry.
Deco in influence, the room is perfectly finished with the customized carpet and the delightfully treatment of the plaster profiles.
I can just imagine evening drinks in this room, guests stylishly attired and enjoying the glamour and warmth of this beautiful place – enjoy!
